Audi continues its electrification by launching an all-new compact electric SUV, the Q6 e-tron. This addition to the brand's lineup targets the heart of the compact SUV segment dominated by the very popular Tesla Model Y.
To lead a hot fight, Audi is using a brand new electric platform called Premium Platform Electric (PPE), created with Porsche. It also serves as the basis for the next electric Macan. With measurements approaching within a few millimeters of those of its American competitor, this Q6 presents a resolutely Audi design characterized by an image of quiet strength and by its piercing OLED optics.
Depending on the livery chosen, the SUV offers a power produced by its two engines of 422 hp in the Q6 version while the SQ6 variant pushes the count to 483 hp. A 100 kWh battery ensures a range currently estimated at 482 km for the entry-level version, in the American measurement cycle, similar to that used in Canada. The power of fast charging can increase up to 270 kW, limiting a recharge from 10 to 80% to 21 minutes, in the best conditions.

As has become a necessary step among luxury brands, the cabin is full of OLED touch screens which cover the entire dashboard, a new approach for Audi.
The first examples of the Audi Q6 e-tron will arrive at the end of the year at a price that has not yet been specified by Audi Canada.
