This Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is based – not surprisingly – the 718 Cayman GT4 but it receives improvements to improve its performance. A reworked body and chassis
To deliver such figures, an effort has been made to reduce the costs. Several body components, such as the hood and front fenders, are made of reinforced carbon fiber. Also, we did the bare minimum in terms of comfort. Insulating materials have been reduced to their simplest form, as have the carpeting and the side and rear windows of the car. These are in addition to the lightweight door panels fitted with textile straps. The appearance of the car has also been reworked, with the aim of improving its performance. In order to improve handling, the ball joints have been reinforced and the adjustable suspension has been lowered by 30 mm. The RS also has specific anti-roll bar dampers. Those who would like an even higher performance can get the Weissach package (costing $ 15,110) which includes a front trunk lid, air intakes, air intake box, mirror caps. and a fin with a carbon fiber finish. It can also come with optional forged magnesium rims at a cost of $ 17,840.
Performance and price
