Let’s go for the new Honda Pilot 2023

The latest generation of Honda Pilot was seriously starting to age since its introduction in 2016. Under the hood of the 2023 model, we offer essentially the same engine, but the size of the vehicle is more imposing than ever.

Here we go for the 4th generation of the Honda Pilot of the 2023 model year. Launched in 2003, the 1st generation was an immediate success and maintained its popularity in its segment. Moreover, in Quebec, we are talking about sales that exceed 1,200 copies in 2021. With this new generation, Honda hopes to get closer to the top by adopting a new approach in terms of size. The new Pilot is the largest vehicle ever produced by Honda.

It was at the US facility in Lincoln, Alabama that the very first 2023 Pilot saw the light of day. It was in this same factory that the very first Pilot was produced almost 20 years ago. Today, the Pilot is a little longer by 30 centimeters than at its origins. This reality makes him the biggest Pilot in history. We owe this reality to the introduction of a new platform that frees up even more interior and trunk space. The latter also reaches a volume of more than 3,220 liters of cargo space. This makes it the largest in the category, in addition to offering 7 or 8-seater configurations.

In Canada, no less than 5 different versions will be offered at a base price of $52,714 for the Sport model. A new TrailSport version joins the lineup at a price of $59,515, while the most equipped model, Black Edition, will retail for $64,915. Typically American, not only is the Pilot assembled in the United States, but it is designed in research and development facilities in Ohio, while its design was done in the Californian studios of the manufacturer. The first copies of the 2023 Pilot will arrive in Canada in the coming weeks.
