Yokohama moves its warehouse from Brampton, Ontario to Laval, Quebec

The tire manufacturer Yokohama is revamping its warehouses in Canada, it will relocate two of its main warehouses to improve storage and delivery conditions to its retailers and customers.

First, the Langley warehouse in British Columbia will close at the end of April 2023. Yokohama will relocate this warehouse to a new 100,000 square foot building to be located in Edmonton, Alberta. . This new location will allow Yokohama to better serve high-volume customers in the Prairies and Northwest Territories regions.

A new location in Quebec

The most interesting announcement affects us directly since the following month, the warehouse which is located in Brampton, Ontario will move to Laval, in Quebec. This is a new warehouse which will occupy an area of ​​190,000 square feet and which will make it possible to supply customers in the Maritimes, northern and eastern Quebec as well as Newfoundland and Labrador more quickly. .

According to Yokohama, this new warehouse should be in operation on May 1, 2023 since the one in Brampton will close on May 31.

According to the manufacturer, the increased square footage of the two new warehouses will support future growth and improve flexibility to meet seasonal tire requirements in Canada. Both warehouses are strategically located close to highways, railways and airways to transport tires to customers.
