BMW Neue Klass
The sedan you have before you is just a study, but it hides many things. In particular an avant-garde architecture that its designers have described as a “project of the century”, nothing less. This is the sixth generation of the BMW electric range. This, using a so-called revolutionary battery, will increase the autonomy of its vehicles by 30 % and substantially reduce the recharge time. Better yet, this battery will be less heavy to preserve, or even increase, the pleasure of driving its products. A utility and a sedan will be the first to benefit from these new technologies.

The Chevrolet Bolt
A little late for an April Fool, but the bolt illustrated here is not the news. The management of General Motors had promised a second generation, but it will probably only be presented at the end of the year as part of the Los Angeles automotive fair. Its marketing would then start in the heart of winter. Everything suggests that the future bolt would keep – to maintain the costs at the lowest – the same architecture as its predecessor, but this time would have Ultium technology.
Jaguar Type 00

The Jaguar Type 00
At the end of a (very) long eclipse, Jaguar finds the spotlights with the type 00. This is a very realistic study since the lines are extremely close to the first standard model, an entirely electric GT which will be revealed in the coming months. Two other models will then complete the range which will no longer count any SUVs. The bet appears rather risky and Jaguar recognizes it. The British firm estimates that only 15 % of its current customers will accompany it in its electric transition. And for good reason: the brand will take advantage of this turn to significantly increase its prices in order to position itself in the very high end.

The recognition Jeep
Does the Wrangler worry about? The future Recon has, it is said, fairly similar crossing capacities, but leaves no trace-carbon gets along-in its path. These two vehicles have their own audience, thinks the management of Jeep. Expected in the exhibition halls of the depositaries in the coming months, the Recon comes to join another electric novelty that appeared earlier this year, the Wagooner S. Like the latter, the Recona deposits its body on the Stla architecture developed by the Stellantis group. This, unlike that of Wrangler, has an independent wheeler suspension and not with rigid axles.
Kia EV3

The Kia EV3
The arrival by the first quarter of 2026 of the EV3 in the first quarter of 2026 may end the career of Soul EV and, perhaps, of the Niro EV. Naturally, Kia’s management does not say a word, but it appears more than plausible due to the alleged size and performance of this urban utility which is exclusively fed with a charging station. For the time being, KIA officials disclose the technical information of this model in the making. What appears roughly a certainty is that the consumer will have the choice between a battery of 58.3 kWh and another, 81.4 kWh. And unlike the current Soul EV and Niro EV, the EV3 will offer a four -wheel drive mode.
Nissan Leaf

The Nissan Leaf
The first was unanimously praised for its audacity. The second has cooled more than one for its conservatism. What spell is waiting for the third generation of the Leaf? It is still too early to say, but the fact that this Nissan now presents itself in the guise of a small SUV should not hurt him. In addition, for the first time in its history, the Leaf will be able to put on 19 -inch tires and benefit from a panoramic sunroof. For the North American market, a NACS load port is also integrated, allowing it to refuel with the Tesla. Nissan does not say a word about the (or the?) Propulseur of the future Leaf, any more than on the size of its battery. The Japanese manufacturer concedes, however, that the LEAF will extend an architecture (code name CMF-EV) similar to that of the current Ariya.
Polestar 4

The Polestar 4
Forget the autonomy, the power of its propellants or the speed to which it recharges. The first thing that draws attention in the case of the Polestar 4 is the absence of a rear telescope. To have his pursuers to the eye, this SUV whose profile evokes that of a coupe reaches a digital camera installed on the roof. This retransmits its images in real time to an 8.9-inch high definition screen. In addition to the abolition of this former ice in the past, the Polestar 4 has another surprise: its price (from $ 64,900). This positions it in the face of so -called generalist brands often offering less originality.
Rivian R2

The Rivian R2
With the notable exception of Vinfast, all the young shoots in the electric world have been revealed in the face of the world with products intended for privileged customers (see richer than the average). Rivian was no exception with his R1T ($ 108,900) and R1S ($ 117,900). The American brand has larger ambitions. Above all, she seeks to expand her audience. R2, whose marketing begins in a few months, should allow it. Offered from $ 66,500, the R2 will be able to “walk” five people on board over an approximate distance of 480 km before stopping at a charging station.

The terra and the traveler of the scout motors
If you are not over 50 (and again), you probably do not remember the scout, a utility vehicle produced by the company International Harvester. Volkswagen intends to remind you of his good memory. Indeed, the scout will be reborn from its ashes next year and oversees a range made up of a utility (traveler) and a van (terra). Both will be fully electric. Finally almost, since the German-American company suggests that electrical versions with an energy extension (read a petrol engine) will be potentially offered. In its entirely electric configuration, the Traveler and Terra of the Scout Motors will be based on a modular architecture of 800 volts capable of collecting fast recharges of the order of 350 kW.
