Ram 1500 TRX Ignition Edition, 702 horsepower and an orange body
In order to inject an extra dose of flashy into her Ram 1500 TRX 2022, the brand introduces this year an exclusive version of its full-size high-performance pickup truck, a limited edition whose function is mainly to add even more exuberance to the model.
If you find that the Ram 1500 TRX is a little too sober for your tastes, the manufacturer offers you a new option this year, namely the Ram 1500 TRX Ignition Edition. It will be necessary to act quickly, however, because the latter will only be offered in 100 copies in Canada and at a base price of $ 125,075, which is still nearly $ 25,000 more than what is required for the basic version of the TRX.
What do you get for that price? A Ram TRX equipped with the Level 2 Option Package ($ 8,985) which includes a host of additional equipment including a set of chrome pedals, heated and ventilated front seats, a leather / suede rimmed steering wheel lower flattened and a trailer brake controller.
Its exclusivity is mainly due to its orange body color and unique exterior graphics affixed to the sides of the body; these graphics are reminiscent of those of the Ford Raptor. The Ram 1500 TRX Ignition Edition is also equipped with 18-inch black wheels to enhance the effect of contrast with the body.
On board, there are also some exclusives including orange stitching, carbon fiber trim and orange Ram emblems.
702 horsepower Hellcat engine
The Ram 1500 TRX Ignition Edition, however, benefits from the same mechanics, the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that develops an output of 702 horsepower and produces a torque of 650 pound-feet. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and the model’s towing capacity is 3,538 kilograms (7,800 pounds).
The vehicle will be available for order towards the end of 2021.
